I'm Rosemarie a certified Birth Doula with DONA International and a certified
Childbirth Educator with Lamaze International. When I got pregnant with my
second child, my husband John and I decide to hire a doula to assist us during my
birth. The experience was so amazing and empowering. After seeing first hand the
benefits of continuous emotional and physical support throughout my long and
beautiful labor, I knew I was being called into this profession. Here I am today 13
years later, still so passionate and in love with what I do that I want to help you have
the birth of your dreams.
When I am not teaching or assisting at births, I enjoy hiking , walks along the beach
with John and horseback riding with my boys John and Nicholas. When I find time
for myself, I enjoy nothing more than sitting on the couch reading a good book while
drinking a delicious cup of coffee After years of training in Taekwondo I earned my
First Degree Black Belt in the fall of 2008. I recently stopped Taekwondo and am now
doing ATA Fusion. It is a mix of cardio, strength training and self defense. It is hard
work, but I am loving it.
A favorite verse of mine is "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and all your plans
will Succeed." Proverbs 16:3
