I’m Rosemarie a certified Birth Doula with DONA International and a certified Childbirth Educator with Lamaze International. When I got pregnant with my second child my husband John and I decide to hire a doula to assist us during my birth. The experience was so amazing and empowering. After seeing first hand the benefits of continuous emotional and physical support throughout my long and beautiful labor I knew I was being called into this profession. Here I am today 14 years later, still so passionate and in love with what I do that I want to help you have the birth of your dreams. When I am not teaching or assisting at births, I enjoy hiking, walks along the beach with John and horseback riding with my boys John and Nicholas. When I find time for myself, I enjoy nothing more than sitting on the couch reading a good book while drinking a delicious cup of coffee. In October 2008 I received my First Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.
As I sit and reflect back over my years as a doula and childbirth educator, I feel blessed to be in this profession and look forward to many more years preparing and guiding families through the amazing journey of childbirth.
